The owner-chef not only carries on the skills and approach of his forerunner who founded this Japanese restaurant 40 years ago, but also offers his own creative cuisine. His Sanuki Chirashi-zushi (assorted toppings on a bed of sushi rice) is a masterpiece made with seasonal fish and produce from Kagawa (formerly called Sanuki). We recommend the Kyoto-style kaiseki cuisine as well, accompanied by a local sake or one from the restaurant’s fine selection from other parts of Japan.
